Old Business: The Christmas bazaar went well and we had a lot of fun. We made about $800.00 in profit.
New Business: Re-Enrollment forms for members and volunteer leaders are due January 7, 2011. Santa’s Helpers would like two dozen cookies from all 4-H families to the fairgrounds on Monday, December 20th by 2:00 p.m. Market Beef weigh-ins are December 30th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the fairgrounds. Please save Our Family UPC labels/bar codes and turn them into the extension office since they receive money for them. The Mongolian exchange trip is for youth ages fifteen to seventeen years old. For more information, contact the extension office. For anyone that received a plaque or award at Achievement Day, please write thank you notes to award donors soon. Please save your Decker’s receipts and pop cans, then turn them into the extension office for the Junior Leaders. Members who are taking self-determined projects are REQUIRED to complete a new form for pre-approval this year. Contact Denise for a copy of this form. We voted to donate $200.00 for the Food Drive. Several good ideas were discussed on what Christmas activities could be done with Diane Tadewald’s grandkids. Mrs. Vandeberg said she would mention them to a few others and decide soon what we could do. The motions needed to adjourn the meeting were made by Vanya Barnsdale and Jasmine Christianson. The rest of the members agreed so we could enjoy the sugar cookies and milk Jasmine Christianson passed out.
The next meeting will be at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2011.
Respectively submitted by,
Alyssa Barnsdale
